Sad, but true: Airline customer is generally not very good - especially when they're in the wrong. I assume you'll eventually get a check of some sort, though snail mail will probably be a better avenue to keep following-up with. If you can dig up receipts of the new shoes that would be good. Also I hope you took lots of pictures of your destroyed bag while at the airport to include as evidence. When you took the bags from them, I hope you didn't sign anything - because you may have waived any other official claims. They would still probably work with you, but you never know with these guys.

I have my own story of rude CA flight attendants! I only flew CA once and that's more than enough for me.

And just a warning, don't bother posting any airlines related complaints on my3cents.com. The airline section of this site is full of airlines employees , friends, former employees etc who will give posters sh** about any airline complaints posted!

Ya, my3cents is a waste of time.
See here how we resolved this problem.. :)

I also tried a couple of blogs, but the Quantas airline employees in this case(they never disclose the fact that they work for Qantas) simple jumps on you, are rude and tries to \'shout-you-out\'..

My fun experice starts with AA and Qantas working together to defraud customers (Qantas is the active party)....
    -------------------------------------------
After spending almost $10,000 on plane tickets to Austalia for our family vacation, Quantas refused to give a single frequent flier mile to our American Airline accounts (they are one-world alliance partners).

However, after the travel is completed, Quantas instructs American Airlines, that the flights does not \
